Lim Chu Kang Mangroves (submitted by Dewi Anggraini)

Lim Chu Kang Mangroves is a beautiful and unique patch of unprotected mangrove in north-western Singapore facing the Western Straits of Johor. The mangrove shoreline is a short one of approximately 100 metres.

Despite having conducted a cleanup in early July, the trash load is still high. This Saturday, participants from Coca Cola Singapore and Republic Polytechnic will be collecting trash and data as part of this year’s ICCS 2008.
