The International Costal Cleanup Singapore is an annual environmental exercise conducted since 1992 by over 3,000 volunteers by more than 50 organisations and schools.

This environmental event is coordinated by a group of volunteers known as the ICCS Otters from the Raffles Museum Toddycats! – the volunteer arm of the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum (Previously: Raffles Museum of Biodiversity Research), Department of Biological Sciences, National University of Singapore.

The international programme is conducted in 70 countries around the world on the third Saturday of September every year. For more information about the cleanup, visit the ICCS webpage at coastalcleanup.nus.edu.sg and sign up with the mailing list there to stay updated.

This blog contains news and announcements from ICCS by the ICCS Otters, as well as reports of cleanup events by volunteer Organisers throughout the year (year-round coastal cleanups). We also post rapid updates on the day of the ICCS event itself.
